Elger Bay’s Start of Summer Update

FYI, yesterday (June 15th) was the last day of Lingcod season. Reports this year were much slower than last… many anglers reported plenty of Rockfish but not many Lings. However, Salmon is now open Fridays through noon on Mondays at the Tulalip “Bubble” only.

Don’t forget: Crabbing opens in 2 weeks! That’s right folks, July 1st is opening day of Crab season. Like last year, it will be open Wed – Sunday every week through Labor Day. You can keep your pots out over night(at your own risk) Wed – Sat but they MUST be pulled by Sunday evening or you’ll be in for a ticket. If you want to crab but have no gear, come see me and I’ll get you setup. I’ve already got bait in stock with more on the way too so don’t wait until the last minute!

Mark your calendars for August 29th and 30th. Why, you ask? Because Elger Bay Grocery is holding our 3rd 50/50 Charity Salmon Derby that weekend. More details to follow, but its going to be a blast and its for a good cause so don’t miss it!
